APCA is a non-profit organization which acomodates, recovers and finds adoptive families for abandoned dogs in Portugal. The dogs that live at our kennel are in open spaces and if not adopted they die of old age. We have a non-euthanasia policy.

APCA relies on voluntary contributions and one of the ways in which you can help us is to become a Member. You can rest assured that your annual subscription will contribute directly towards the cost of food, kennel staff and veterinary care as all administrative costs are undertaken on a voluntary basis.

Please download the Membership Application here and complete it in block letters. Please enclose a cheque payable to Associacao de Proteccao aos Caes Abandonados in the sum of €30 (thirty euros). Alternatively, you can make a bank transfer to the following bank :
